A health checkup conducted in the schools of jorhat that only 50% children are enjoying normal health. The rest are suffering from one deficiency or the other. The most common is the dental problem showing a 15%. Apparently no one has taught thrm anything about keeping teeth healthy. The most important thing is to keep the teeth clear all the time, specially after every meal. Secondly, comes the union i.e 10% of the children's suffers from poor eye sight. The children must be to read and write in proper light and posure. They should not unnecessarily stain their eyes by playing mobile games. 10% shows children who have skin problems. Daily bath with good soap and neem soaked water is mandatory for healthy skin. Another 10% of children are obsessed and 59% are underweight . To solve this problem clearly a balanced diet with fruits,vegetables and milk is must.
