°TO CONSTRUCT A SQUARE ROOT SPIRAL

PROCEDURE

1. GET A TRACING PAPER AND MARK MN = 1 unit.

2. FOLD THE TRACING PAPER TO GET POINT N1 SUCH THAT MN PERPENDICULAR N N1 = 1 UNIT.

MN1 = under root 1²+ 1² = under root 2 units.

3. FOLD TO OBTAIN THE CREASE MN1 AND AGAIN FOLD THE PAPER TO OBTAIN THE POINT N2 IN SUCH A WAY THAT MN1 PERPENDICULAR TO N1 N2 AND N1 N2 = 1 UNIT.

MN2 = under root ( under root 2)² + (under root 1)² = under root 3 units.

4. REPEAT THE PROCESS TO GET THE POINTS N3 N4 N5 _______ TO OBTAIN THE LENGTH under root 4, under root 5, under root 6.........

5. HENCE, WE GET A SQUARE ROOT SPIRAL.

HOPE IT HELPS YOU

Answer:

Width of picture = 60cm

Length of picture = 1.8m=180cm

Perimeter of the picture ⟹2×(length+breadth)

⟹2×(180+60)cm=2×240cm=480cm

Ratio=Perimeter of picturewidth of picture=48060=81=1:8
