This is an ASL prompt
for discussion. You can say the following lines or something similar in your
discussion for the prompt:
Partner A: Hey buddy, are you excited about the Children's Day celebrations?
Partner B: Yes, I am; but there is a problem! Not many students are willing to join in!
Partner A: Why? They don't want to have the fun? Very strange! The entire nation celebrates the day with so much of gusto, why should we remain behind?
Partner B: Actually, the principal has issued an order, which says all classes will decorate the classes on their own; this means they will have to arrange for the decoration themselves; the school won't provide any material; so the students are not willing to make posters, decorative material, etc. as there is hardly much time left. That's the problem!
Partner A: How silly of them! They want to miss all the fun of the day just for this reason! I will talk to them! We have some really good artist students who are so slick with sketching, painting and decoration. We can make all the decorative material, lock, stock and barrel within two days! Besides, these days all things are available ready-made, we can buy the posters and the decorative material from any stationery shop!
Partner B: Yes, we can. We can also contribute some money to arrange for the material and the eatables.
Partner A: The school has organized a small dance party after the school that day. We will really have fun!
Partner B: The very thought of this is making me so excited. Let's go to our class teacher and discuss the plan with her! She may give us some really valuable tips!
