Materials required : Luke warm milk, 2small bowls, Buttermilk, Curd.
Procedure : 1.Take some lukewarm milk in two small bowls.
2.Now add few drops of buttermilk little curd in one of the bowls,.
3.Do not anything in the see bowl.
4. Now keep the bowls in warm place and observe in the bowls after 5to6 hours.
Observation : Curd or buttermilk contains bacteria named lactobacillus.
Conclusion : Lactobacillus converts milk into curd.

★ Materials required :
- Two bowls
- Lukewarm milk
- Buttermilk or Little curd
★ Procedure :
- Take some lukewarm milk in two small bowls.
- Add a few drops of butter milk or little curd in one bowl and in the second bowl do not add anything.
- Keep the two bowls in a warm place.
- Observe the milk in the bowls after 5 to 6 hours.
★ Observation :
Curd or buttermilk contains bacterium named lactobacillus, Lactobacillus converts the milk into curd.

Milk changes into Curd due to the presence of Lactobacillus bacteria.

★ Materials required :
- Two cups
- 100 grams of maida powder
- 1 or 2 spoons of yeast powder
- Hot water
★ Procedure :
- Take 100grams of maida in a bowl
- Add one or two spoons of yeast powder
- Add some hot water and knead it to make dough.
- Keep the dough in a warm place.
- Observe the dough after 3-4 hours.
★ Observation :
When yeast is added to maida dough, the dough rises. Bubbles of the gas fill the dough, increase it's volume and make it spongy in nature.
★ Precautions :
- Keep the dough in a warm place.
★ Result :
This is due to the production of carbon dioxide gas during the process of fermentation.
