Answer:
A money order is a payment method used in post offices in order to send a specified amount of money as per to the post office terms and conditions, therefore any person that desires to send money via post office for example in India, requires to purchase a money order for the amount they desire and once the purchase is done, a receipt is issued. The money is then delivered to the recipient after some days. It is a cheaper and safer way of sending money to people who may not have access to banks or who live in remote areas.
