The play that was staged in my school was called “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”, written by William Shakespeare. The theme of the play was about two couples of lovers and the obstacles they faced in their relationships. There were four main characters – Hermia, Lysander, Demetrius and Helena. The costumes were kept true to the original play, and the dialogues were delivered with great poise and emotion. The audience was thoroughly engaged and gave an enthusiastic response at the end of the play.
