There was a lovely garden. It belonged to a giant. He was away for several years on
a visit to a friend's place. The children of the neighbourhood used to visit his garden
every afternoon. Children liked his garden as it was full of fruit trees, lovely flower

plants produced flowers of the finest colours. The sweet songs of birds filled the air.
The grassy meadow which was at one corner of the garden was charming. For children.
it was a marvellous place. There was plenty of space to play and run about, shady
trees to sit under and relax, and plants of fruits to enjoy. No garden could have been
better. So, they used to play happily in the giant's garden.
