ACTIVITY 2
1. Take two wooden stands and place
them 30 cm apart from each other.
2. Take an iron rod having length 50 cm
Reat it on the wooden stands such that
both of its ends placed slightly ahead of
the stands
3. Stick some paper clips on to the rod at
equal distances by using wax,
4. Heat one end of the rod with the help
of a burning candle
You will see the paper clips start to fall as the wax that stuck them to the rod melts.
The paper clip nearest to the flame falls first, followed by the one next to it and so on,
Hence, the heat is travelling along the rod from one end to the other. Can you tell its conclusion please​
