Objective
To test the nature of soil.
Required material : Tea spoon, smallest disposable bottle or two test tubes, soil, water,
litmus paper etc.
Process
1. Take a tea spoon of soil in a test tube or a small disposable bottle.
2. Add 10 ml distilled water to it and shake well.
3. Allow the soil to settle down.
4. Decant the supernatant (Floating liquid) carefully into another test
tube.
5. Test the supernatant with the help of litmus paper,
