It was a very dark lane. I was walking down the street and soaked to the bone. The rain has been very merciless these past few days. It made my job difficult as I was an artist who preferred to paint outside of the four walls of my house. Every person has a story to tell. And I liked to imagine what the story of the person walking in front of would be. Are they frowning because of the fight they had with their boss? Or did their favourite book was out of stock when they went to buy it in the bookstore we passed 10 minutes ago.
A loud noise brought me out of the trance I had fallen into.
I had a bad habit of getting lost in my thoughts which in real life resulted getting me lost in the streets of the city that never sleeps– Mumbai. The noise piqued my curiosity, so I went in the direction of that noise. There were two dogs that were terrorizing a kitten. Though I shouldn't have interfered, I ended up scaring off the troublesome dogs and a very wet, terrified kitten in my arms.
By nature, I was very soft hearted.
