Activity 4: picture analysis

1. what is the picture all about?

Answer: The image is about water being life.

2. why do you think these people participate in this event? if given a chance, will you join this rally? why or why not?

Answer:

  • I believe that many who attended the rally did so because they believed in protecting our mother earth. People clearly want to demonstrate that our water should be used in a good way so that we can rescue our mother earth, as I've seen from the posters and banners that proclaim that water is life.
  • The proverb "water is life" is often used. We depend on water for fun and relaxation as well as for our food, health, and livelihood. Water, however, has the power to kill. And without water, things can get worse. 700 million people currently reside in water-stressed regions. This figure is projected to increase to 1.8 billion by 2025, or nearly 25% of the world's population.
  • Because water is such a crucial component of so many of our activities, drought has a wide range of effects on our daily lives. Animals, plants, and humans all need on water to survive. The food we eat must be grown with water. In our daily lives, we use water for a wide range of activities, including cooking, bathing, swimming, and river rafting.
  • Additionally, water is used in the production of the electricity that powers your favourite video games as well as the lights in our homes. Many individuals and many different things will be impacted in many different ways when we don't have enough water for these activities due to a drought.
