=⟩ 238 + 2n is a perfect square.

=⟩ 238 + 2n is greater than 238.

=⟩ 238 + 2n = 256 (Since, 256 is the

smallest perfect square

which is greater than 238)

=⟩ 2n = 256 - 238

=⟩ 2n = 18

=⟩ n = 18/2

=⟩ n = 9
