Activity : Do plants breathe?
Materials required: Live leaf (Fresh one, do not pick it up off the ground), transparent glass
or plastic bowl, water, small rock, magnifying glass (optional)
Procedure 1) Fill the bowl with water at room temperature.
2) Now place the leaf in the bowl of water.
3) Then place a small rock on top of the leaf to fully submerge the leaf under the water.
4) Place the bowl in a sunny spot inside or outside.
5) Wait for a few hours, then observe.
