Given :-

Numerator as X

and

Denominator as Y

A/Q=

x×5/y-3 =3

5x/y-3 = 3

5x = 3(y-3)

5x = 3y-9.... (¡)

x+5÷y/2 = 2......(¡¡)

2(x+5)/y = 2

2(x+5) = 2×y

2x+10 = 2y

2x = 2y-10

2x = 2(y-5)

X = y-5.. .....(¡¡¡)

Putting X = y-5 on equation (¡)

5(y-5)=3y-9

5y-25 = 3y -9

5y-3y = 25-9

2y = 16

y = 8

Putting Y =8 on equation (¡¡¡)

X = y-5

X = 8-5

X = 3

So,

Numerator = 3

and

denominator = 8

HERE IS YOUR ANSWER.

fraction is x/y

5x/y-3=3

=5x=3y-9

=5x-3y=-9.........eq1

Then,

x+5/1/2y=2

=x+5=1/2y*2

x+5=y

x-y=-5.........eq2

multiply 2 with 3

on solving......

5x-3y=-9

3x-3y=-15

2x=6

so. x=3

then. x-y=-5

3-y=-5so. y=2
