Activity III ● Arrange for 3 different types of solutions. (E.g. Grape juice, Lemon juice, Orange juice, Soap solution, Baking soda solution, Vinegar, etc) ● . Take approximately equal amounts of the three solutions in three different transparent glasses/containers. ● Take 4 clean shining iron nails / screws (or any such object) and immerse one in each of the 3 solutions. Keep one aside (wrapped in a paper or cotton) for comparison. ● Look for any change(s) and record your observations over a period of 5 to 6 days on the basis of following in a tabular form : (i) Change in physical appearance of the iron nail (object) (ii) Change in the appearance of the solutions or (iii) Any other notable change ● Identify the changes as physical or chemical giving reasons.
