hey friend here is your answer-

1) Take a clean test tube. fill it with 10 ml of dilute hydrochloric acid. add two drops of litmus solution. note the colour . it's red.

2)now,with the help of a dropper,slowly add dilute sodium hydroxide solution in test tube.

3)stir the solution in test tube with clean glass rod or shake the test tube carefully. keep on adding sodium hydroxide,drop by drop.stir well after adding each drop.

4)a stage will come when the colour of the solution in test tube will turn blue. stop adding the alkali then .

5)the neutralisation reaction has taken place. the acid(giving the red colour with litmus solution is neutralised by alkali.
