ACTIVITY OPERATIONS OF INTEGERS Aim : To Understand the concept of operations of Addition of Integers Materials Required: Integer slabs Procedure : ● When positive signs are added ,the result is the sum of their absolute value with positive Sign Eg : ( +5) +(+2 ) = +7 ● When two Negative Integers are added ,the result is the sum of their absolute values with the same Sign. Eg : ( -5 ) + ( -2) = -7 ● When a positive and Negative Sign are added ,the result is the difference of integers and assign the greater integer Sign.
