Phototrophism means showing movement toward light.
To demonstrate this carry out the given activity.
Take a potted plant and keep it inside a room near the window such that light enters through the window. After a few days you will notice that the plant bends towards​ light. This is because when light falls on the tip a hormone auxin is released which stimulates growth in plant.
