⭕️The propagation of light in straight line is called rectilinear propagation of light.

✔️✔️✔️Ex:-
⭕️Ray of light coming from sun.

✔️✔️✔️Equipments needed :-

⭕️CANDLE

⭕️STRAW.

✔️✔️✔️Experiment:-

⭕️Take three cardboards A, B and C and make a hole at their centers.

Place a burning candle on one side of A and arrange the cardboards in such a way that the three pinholes and the candle flame are in a straight line.

⭕️The candle flame will be visible through the pinhole of the cardboard C.

⭕️Now slightly displace any one of the cardboards and try to see the flame through the pinhole of the cardboard C.

⭕️The flame will not be visible.

✔️✔️✔️Observation :-

⭕️you will notice that candle flame will be visible through the pinholes in a straight line only.

➖This shows light is propagated rectilinearly.!!!!!!!!

heya mate here is your answer .

material required => a straight tube , a candle

procedure=> place a lighted candle on a plane surface like table

CASE1 :take a straight tube and look through it at the candle

CASE2 : then bend the tube and try to look through it.

observation=>in the first case when you try to look at the candle with the straight tube you were able to look through it because it was straight

but in the second case when you trues to look at the candle with the tube bent you were not able to see the light coming from the candle

conclusion =>this shows the rectilinear propergation of light.
