Take a pipe. Make someone stand by the two corners of the pipe. Let’s consider that the two people are A and B. Tell A to hold a torch and tell B to bend the pipe. While B is bending the pipe tell C to see through the pipe. C will not be able to see the light. Now tell B to make pipe straight. Tell C to see through the pipe again. Now C will be able to see the torch light. This proves that the light travels in a straight line

in figure a in I have shown that a straight pipe is put it in front of the flame of candle and I can see that film in figure the I have put the fight in curved shape and now I could not able to see the flame so here I have shown that how light travels in a straight line and we could see that in figure a b I could see the light as the the pipe was straight and when we curve there pipe I could not able to see the seems so here we have shows the activity how light travels in a straight line and this property is known as rectilinear propagation of light I think I have just explain it but if you have to write the full activity you should have to write the items which are needed in this activity and also you have to draw pictures as as shown in the given picture
