take a cell,a torch bulb fitted in a holder and some connecting wires with crocodile clips and connect them to make a electric circuit .let us insert a piece of aluminium foil between the ends of crocodile clips

we will see that torch bulb light up at once. this means aluminum allows electric current to pass through them . so from this activity we conclude metals are good conductor of electricity.

wheares if we take any non metal instead of aluminium the bulb doesn't glow. this shows non metal are poor conductor of electricity
