Let the name of the cube be ABCD.
Side of the cube = 9cm.
Therefore volume of the cube = (9cm)³= 729cm³
Inside the cube water is filled and takes a form of a cuboid.
Let us consider this cuboid as EFCD. Two pairs of sides(length and breadth) measures 9cm.
Height=?
Volume of cuboid =729-405=324cm³
Volume of cuboid = l *b*h
324cm³ = 9*9*h
Therefore h= 324/9*9
h = 4cm.
Therefore height of the water in the cube is 4cm
