We've have given that ;

speed(s)=200 m/min=200 m/60 sec,(since,1minute=60 sec

Distance(d)=4000 m

Time(t)=?

We know that:

s =  \frac{d}{t}

Also,

 =  > t  =  \frac{d}{s}

let's put values into formula:

t =  \frac{4000 \: m}{ \frac{200 \: m}{60 \: s} }

To easy calculation we can write:

t = 4000 \: m \div  \frac{200 \: m}{60 \: s}

to remove division sign, write it's reciprocal i.e.

t = 4000 \: m \times  \frac{60 \: s}{200 \: m}

t =  40 \times 60 \: sec

t = 2400sec \: or \: 40min
