Step-by-step explanation:

yes of course it bisects because perpendicular are of 90 degree and a line segment contains two angles only of 90°

thereforw it bisects

Given :

  • AD = BC
  • ∠CBO = ∠DAO (Each 90°)

To Find :

  • CD bisects AB
  • OA = OB

Solution :

In Δ AOD and Δ BOC :

\longmapsto\tt{AD=BC(Given)}

\longmapsto\tt{\angle{CBO}=\angle{DAO}(Each\:90\degree)}

\longmapsto\tt{\angle{AOD}=\angle{BOC}(V.O.A)}

So , By ASA Rule ΔAOD ΔBOC..

Now :

\longmapsto\tt{OA=OB(By\:CPCT\:Rule)}

ASA Rule :

Two Triangles are congruent if two angles and the included side of one triangle is equal to the two angles and the included side of other Triangle .

CPCT means Corresponding Parts of Congruent Triangle.

V.O.A stands for Vertically Opposite Angles.
