AD and BE are respectively the altitudes of triangle ABC with AB=AC. Prove that AE=BD

as the teo sides of triangle are equal i.e. AB and AC
so the perpendicular (altitude) will bisect AB and AC
therefore
ab = ac
dividing both sides by 2
 \frac{ab}{2}  =  \frac{ac}{ 2}
so AE=BD
HENCE PROVED
