AD=6cm,

Solution:-

DC=½ BC = ½×16= 8 CM.

In ∆ ADC , ∠ D=90°

.•. by Pythagoras theorem,

AC²=AD²+DC²

AC²=6²+8²

AC² = 36+64

AC² = 100

AC = 10cm
