if we consider triangle ABD, we know sum of two sides is greater than third side,
therefore,
AB+BD>AD.............................(1)
similarly, AC+CD>AD......................(2)
ADD. eq 1 and 2
we get AB+BD+CD+AC>AD+AD
we know BD +CD =BC
therefore, AB+AC+BC>2AD
HENCE PROVED
