In triangle ABD and triangle ACD we have, angle (i)ABD=angle ACD( angles opposite to equal sides are also equal) (ii) angle ADB=angle ADC (each 90') then triangle ABD is similar to triangle ACD (by AA similarity condition) therefore BD=CD (by cpst).
