(2 \sqrt{2}  + 5 \sqrt{3} ) + ( \sqrt{2}  - 3 \sqrt{3} ) \\  = (2 \sqrt{2}  +  \sqrt{2} ) + (5 \sqrt{3}  - 3 \sqrt{3} ) \\  = (2 + 1) \sqrt{2}  + (5 - 3) \sqrt{3}   \\ = 3 \sqrt{2}  + 2 \sqrt{3}
