\rm{ Add \:{3a}^{3}+{a}^{2} + 1 \:and\: {a}^{2} - 2}

Solution :

\longrightarrow{\rm{ {3a}^{3} + {a}^{2} + {a}^{2} + 1 - 2 }}

\longrightarrow{\rm{ {3a}^{3} + {a}^{4} - 1 }}

\implies{\rm\green{\boxed{ {3a}^{3} + {a}^{4} - 1 }}}

Steps followed :

  1. Firstly we have rearranged the given algebraic sum by taking up all the like terms together.
  2. Then we have tried to find out what they give after adding or subtracting from thier like terms.
  3. When we took like terms together we came to know that there is no like term for \rm{{3a}^{3}} so we have not done any operations on it. But direclty took it down into the final answer.
  4. Then we went to the next numbers : \rm{{a}^{2}+{a}^{2}} When these two were added they gave us \rm{{a}^{4}} as the powers were added.
  5. Then we were left with 1 - 2 which gave us -1
  6. Hence we have obtained our final answer of
  • \rm{{3a}^{3} + {a}^{4} -1}
