 = (3 {x}^{2}  - 2x + 4) + (2 {x}^{2}  + 3x - 5) \\  = 3 {x}^{2}  + 2 {x}^{2}  - 2x + 3x + 4 - 5 \\  = 5 {x}^{2}  + x - 1
