Find the least common denominator or LCM of the two denominators: LCM of 15 and 10 is 30. ...

For the 1st fraction, since 15 × 2 = 30, 815 = 8 × 215 × 2 = 1630.

Likewise, for the 2nd fraction, since 10 × 3 = 30, 710 = 7 × 310 × 3 = 2130.

1630 + 2130 = 16 + 2130 = 3730.

So, 8/15 + 7/10 = 37/30.

LCM prooving

As 10 is when multiplied 3 times and 15 is multiplied 2 times then they both are going to give the same answer i.e 30
