We have given the two term : 8x²+7xy-6y² and 4x²-3xy+2y²

=>First we will arrange the terms in such a way that like terms will be together.

=>8x²+7xy-6y²+4x²-3xy+2y²

=>Here, 8x² and 4x² are like terms having same Variable say x² similarly ,-3xy and 7xy have same Variable xy and -6y² & 2y² having y² as same Variable.

Now , writing like terms together and rearranging the terms:

=>8x²+4x²+7xy-3xy-6y²+2y²

Solving third term

=>8x²+4x²+7xy-3xy-4y²( -6 is > than 2 and sign of greater number should be placed )

Solving second term

=>8x²+4x²+4xy-4y²

Solving first term

=>12x²+4xy-4y² (answer)

Further solve =>

We see here that 12,4& 4 all are multiples of 4 so taking 4 as common.

=>4(3x²+xy-y²)
