  • As per the data given in the question, we have to find the value of the expression.

            Given data:- \frac{-9}{21} +\frac{5}{-7} +\frac{2}{3}.

To find:- the value of the given expression.

            Solution:-

  • We will take the LCM of the denominators, and make denominators the same.
  • We will Convert the given fractions to equivalent fractions with the denominator as the LCM.
  • Adding the numerators over the denominators.

         \frac{-9}{21} +\frac{5}{-7} +\frac{2}{3}\\=\frac{-3}{7} +\frac{5}{-7} +\frac{2}{3}\\= -\frac{3}{7}+\left(-\frac{5}{7}\right)\\=\frac{-3+(-5)}{7}=-\frac{8}{7}\\

       Now add,

       =-\frac{8}{7}+\frac{2}{3\\}\\=\frac{-8 \cdot 3}{7 \cdot 3}+\frac{2 \cdot 7}{3 \cdot 7}\\=-\frac{24}{21}+\frac{14}{21}=\frac{-24+14}{21}\\=-\frac{10}{21}.

Hence we will get the value \frac{-10}{21} .
