Question :-

  • add given algebraic expressions
  • - 12a - 23b +30 .and -19a +12b -17 (arrange algebraic expressions in a proper sequence)

solution :-

-12a -23b + 30 + ( -19a + 12b -17)

= -12a -23b + 30 - 19a + 12b -17

= -31a - 11b + 13

2) Question :-

  • subtract given algebraic expressions
  • 21a + 3b -13 from 10a + 12b +15 (arrange algebraic expressions in a proper sequence)

Solution :-

10a + 12b + 15 - (21a + 3b - 13)

= 10a + 12b + 15 - 21a - 3b + 13

= -11a + 9b + 28
