Ok. As we know 7 and 5 are numerator AND 8 and 12 are denominator.

Solution:

First we have to make both denominator same.

7/8 = 8 X 12 = 96

5/12 = 12 X 8 - 96

These two numbers 12 and 8 are now 96 it means = 7/96 and 5/96.But....

If we make any fraction denominator  same, we have make the numerator same. So we will multiply that number which we have multiplied with denominator....

7/96 = 7 X 12 = 84

5/12 = 5 X 8 = 40

Now the fraction is 84/96 and 40/96. Now just add it. Remember to add only the numerator. Stay the denominator same.

84/96 + 40/96 = 84 + 96

                          = 192

So, the answer is 192/96.
