LCM of -13/8 and 12/-5 i.e LCM of 8 and -5 is 40

so,-13/8×5/5=-65/40

12/-5×-8/-8=-96/40

now the denominator of both the rationals is the same i.e 40

so-65/40+-96/40=--161/40

therefore the answer to this question is -161/40.

hope this helps you.THANKYOU Step-by-step explanation:
