Add the fraction: -2/3,1/10,7/5

Your answer

➨ - 2/3 + 1/10 + 7/5

First find the L. C. M of the denominators

i.e L. C. M of 3,10,5

We will get the L. C. M = 30

Then taking the denominator as 30 we will divide the first denominator and multiply to its numerator.

i.e, 30/3 =10 and 10 x - 2 = - 20

Again, dividing the second denominator by 30 and multiply it to its numerator.

i.e, 30/10 = 3 and 3 x 1 = 3

Again, dividing the third denominator by 30 and multiply to its numerator.

i.e, 30/5 = 6 and 6 x 7 = 42

Then, add the results taking denominator as 30.

i.e, (- 20 + 3 + 42) / 30

(45 - 20) / 30

25 / 30

We will change 25/30 in standard form.

i.e, 25/30, here both are the factor of 5, then the standard form will be 5/6

5/6 is your answer.
