Given- three polynomials 4xy2 - 7x2y, 12x2y- 6xy2, 5xy2- 3x2y
To find - the sum of these three polynomials
Solution -
4xy2 - 7x2y + 12x2y - 6 xy2 + 5xy2 - 3x2y
First of all, we have to rearrange the similar terms
4xy2 - 6 xy2 + 5xy2 -7 x2y +12 x2y - 3x2y
Taking xy2 and x2y common we get
= xy2 ( 4 - 6 + 5 ) - x2y ( 7 + 12 - 3 )
= 3 xy2 - 16 x2y
So the solution is 3xy2 - 16 x2y
