so make the both fractions with denominator 10

to make 10 as the denominator multiply 3×2/5×2

= 6/10

second fraction already has denominator 10 so multiply it with 1

as the fractions are of same denominators now u can add them easily

= 6/10 + 9/10

= 6+9/10

= 15/10

= 3/2
