Answer- Let the number required= x

Twice the number= 2x

Adding 4 to twice the number= 2x + 4

Result= 25/6

According to the Question,

2x+ 4= 25/6

2x= 25/6 - 4

2x= (50- 48)/12

2x= 2/12

2x= 1/6

x= 1/6 × 1/2

x= 1/12

Therefore, the required number is 1/12.
