let \: the \: number \: be \: x \\ according \: to \: question \\ 2x + 4 = \frac{25}{6} \\ 2x = \frac{25}{6} - 4 \\ 2x = \frac{25 - 24}{6} \\ 2x = \frac{1}{6} \\ x = \frac{1}{6} \times 1/2\\ x = 1/12
Hence, the number is 1/12.
