By adding common salt to distilled water makes it electrical conductor. • The distilled water which has zero amount of impurities,is unable to conduct slightest amount of electricity. • But,when we add common salt or sodium chloride in that distilled water,it becomes able to conduct electricity.

Answer:

Distilled water is pure and free of salts; thus it is a very poor conductor of electricity. By adding ordinary table salt (NaCl) to distilled water, it becomes an electrolyte solution, able to conduct electricity.
