first you have to convert mixed fraction into improper fraction for converting you have to follow this formula = (denominator × whole part)+numerator upon denominator then your mixed fraction has changed into improper fraction , then if denominator are same you have to simply add numerators if denominator are different then you have use the traditional method means in which you have to make the fraction as like fraction by taking the L.C.M
