Correct Question:-

Addition of digits of a two digit number is 7. If we interchange the digits, the number obtained is 9 more than the original number. Find the original number.

Answer:-

Let the digit in unit place be x

And tens place be 'y'.

Then original number will be 10y+x

Given:

x + y = 7

Number after interchanging the digits = Original number + 9

️‍️️‍️️‍️10x+y = 10y+x+9

Solution:-

→10x + y=10y+x+9

→ 9x = 9y+9

→ 9x-9y=9

→ x-y=1

___________________

x + y = 7

x - y = 1

+

````````````
→2x=8
x=4
Substituting...
→x-y=1
→4-y=1
y=3
______________________
Original number was 10y+x
Substituting the values, we get,
10(3)+4
30+4
34
