Addition of urea to flowering plant so as to grow faster in earthen pot results in the death of the plant after a while. What can be the cause?​

Answer:

urea is cosmetically active substance.

in earthen  pot the are is limited for plant to get nutrients, when plan is given additional urea for faster growth. It causes decrease in available water to the plant by reverse osmosis and urea is acidic in nature it causes increase in acidic nature of soil.

So death occurs due to decrease in availability of water and increase in acidic nature of soil.
