Addition the following expressions (3√5 - 5√3) and(2√5 + 5√3)

Firstly open the brackets,

3√5 - 5√3 + 2√5 + 5√3

= 55

Hence by adding and subtracting the like terms i.e. the terms with the same root we get the above answer.
