Addition vedic maths tricks, does any one know can some one give me the answer

Vedic maths tells us to add one to the tens place to the last number and reduce the previous number by 1 and then perform subtraction. For example, If we have to subtract 47 from 98, then, (1) Reduce 9 by 1 which becomes 8 and add a tens place to 8 and make it 18
