adenine: thymine :: cytosine : guanine

In DNA, there are 4 base pairs Adenine, Thymine, Cytosine and Guanine (commonly known as ATGC). In these base pairs, Adenine and thymine always occur together by a double hydrogen bond and Cytosine and guanine occur together by a triple bond.

Hence the reason for the answer :)
