2012 was the year when Aadhaar and the Right to privacy talks started. The benefits and allowances being provided to the poor people had many holes due to the bribing government officers. This is the point when Aadhaar came into existence. It became mandatory not only for the poor people but also for each and every person in the country. Even though the Supreme Court has announced that it is not mandatory, but the biometric details of every current are linked to it which can be used to even steal the privacy. The data in the Aadhaar card has the Right to Privacy Act given by the court under section 377 recorded by UIDAI. Also, the court has declared that Aadhaar cards are mandatory only for owning a PAN card, no one can be forced to produce the same for any other rights. Due to privacy problems even a private company has no right to have the details of an employee Aadhaar. The UIDAI has made this even more secure under the orders of the Supreme Court. But all these have not come into proper existence.
